The Associate – Technical Writer supports the development of high-quality technical, business, and immigration documentation for clients across diverse industries. This role is ideal for a strong writer with analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information, conduct structured research, and produce clear, accurate, and persuasive written materials.
The Associate will work closely with senior writers, subject-matter experts, and project managers to deliver documents such as business plans, proposals, technical summaries, immigration petition statements, and supporting evidence narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and format a variety of documents including technical summaries, immigration petition narratives, business plans, pitch decks content, and reports.

  • Conduct background research on client industries, technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market trends.

  • Translate technical or complex information into concise, clear, and audience-appropriate language.

  • Assist in preparing evidence exhibits, reference lists, and document packages for client deliverables.

  • Ensure all content meets internal quality, accuracy, tone, and formatting standards.

  • Collaborate with senior writers to incorporate revisions, feedback, and updated client inputs.

  • Maintain organized project files, document versions, and writing templates.

  • Support quality checks to ensure documents are complete, consistent, and aligned with client objectives.

  • Participate in client meetings as needed to gather clarifications or confirm technical details.

    Qualifications and Experience
    Bachelor’s degree in English, Law, Business, Communications, Life Sciences, Business, Engineering, or related field.
    1–3 years of experience in technical writing, business writing, academic writing, or documentation support (internships considered).
    Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    Ability to understand and articulate technical, scientific, or business concepts clearly.
    Strong research skills and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
    Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Associate – Technical Writer is responsible for creating, reviewing, and managing high-quality written documentation that supports both internal and client-facing projects. This role requires exceptional writing, research, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to translate complex technical or regulatory information into clear, accurate, and persuasive content.
The ideal candidate will have experience producing professional materials such as, technical reports, business proposals, and specialized documents for clients across industries such as life sciences, technology, business, healthcare, or engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and proofread a variety of technical and professional documents, including regulatory submissions, white papers, manuals, business plans, and proposals.
    Ensure all content aligns with company standards for clarity, structure, tone, and technical accuracy.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), researchers, and project leads to gather data and insights for document development.

  • Translate complex scientific, business, or technical information into accessible and precise language for diverse audiences.

  • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Maintain document control and version management across all assigned deliverables.

  • Support internal initiatives by developing templates, style guides, and best practice documentation.

  • Contribute to client meetings, providing writing and communication expertise to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

    Qualifications and Experience
    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Law, Business, Communications, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
    4+ years of experience in professional or technical writing, preferably in consulting, regulatory affairs, scientific research, or business documentation.
    Exceptional command of written English, with strong attention to detail, organization, and grammar.
    Proven experience producing or editing technical, scientific, or regulatory documents.
    Strong ability to interpret technical data and craft content that is both accurate and compelling.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or project management systems) is an asset.
    Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
